Life Stages
According to William Shakespeare there are “Seven Ages of Man” but we believe that nutritionally the three most important are the first few stages:
- Preconception
- Pregnancy
- Childhood
It is in the earliest years starting with the health of the prospective mother and father to be that the greatest opportunities for nutritional health are created. Not that it is ever too late to get yourself on the right road in support of good health but the earlier the road map can be drawn the better things will be and that is why nutritional preconception planning is so important.
Articles on this page include some suggestions for preconceptual planning but further advice can be found with the charity “Foresight” for those having trouble conceiving. In addition there is some information on milk, weaning and the whole subject of what makes a good diet for all ages up to and including adults.
